Q: What’s your most-used productivity hack?

A: Finish your day by planning for tomorrow. The last few minutes of my day are spent putting together my to-do list for the following day. This is even more important in a remote working environment as it helps with switching from work mode.

Q: What’s one of the biggest lessons you’ve learned in your career?

A: I've made plenty of mistakes during my career and the most important lesson I've learned is to completely own them. They are golden opportunities to grow both professionally and personally.

Q: What skill do you think everyone should learn?

A: Since we use computers nearly every waking hour, I think everyone should learn to code to some level. By "coding", I mean understanding the basics so you can start introducing automation into your workflow. That could be applying formulas in Excel or writing a small script to do repetitive work that would normally take hours to complete.

Q: What upcoming technological innovation will dramatically impact the industry in the next few years?

A: CRISPR - a gene-editing tech will transform the healthcare sector in the next few years. It holds the promise to revolutionise the global life sciences economy and will affect many aspects of our health and wellbeing.

Q: What’s the best place you’ve traveled to?

A: Halong Bay in Vietnam. It was magical and the perfect spot for a honeymoon. My wife and I stayed on a boat for three days as we explored the bay kayaking, fishing and swimming. The food was amazing. I'd love to go back at some stage in the future. The Vietnamese are really lovely people and so very welcoming.

Q: How do you like to relax and unwind after your workday?

A: After my workday, I like to relax and unwind by going for a nice walk or doing a yoga session. I enjoy catching up on my favourite TV shows and I’ve also taken a keen interest in gardening since we’ve been in lockdown, so this usually takes up a portion of my evenings too!

Q: What’s the most exciting part of your job?

A: The most exciting part of my job is getting to meet and interact with new people.  Whether I am interviewing people to join our team or carrying out training, I always enjoy interacting with new people

Q: What’s the best place you’ve travelled to?

A: Walt Disney World! It's true what they say, it really is the most magical place on earth and not just for kids, there is something there for everyone.

Q: How do you like to start your workday?

A: I always start my workday by reviewing my to-do list for the day.  This helps me to map out my day and to prioritise and achieve my daily goals.

Q: Pineapple pizza. Yay or nay?

A: Absolutely not!
