Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Press Release

2 min read

We are delighted to announce that, following a competitive process, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust have appointed T-Pro as their preferred supplier of Digital Dictation, Outsourced Transcription and Speech Recognition.

T-Pro will provide full integration with the Trust’s Quadramed EPR, offering an end-to-end clinical correspondence and structured reporting workflow solution that supports an advanced, highly configurable document creation workflow process both with Quadramed and correspondence workflows, and subsequent electronic distribution of letters to GPs via Lancashire Person Record Exchange Service (LPRES).

T-Pro will help introduce efficiency in the workflow by accelerating letter turnaround times and reducing delays, through standardised clinical documentation and alignment of working practices, and by reducing postage and printing costs. This will lead to significant time savings for both clinical and administrative staff. The move to T-Pro’s centrally managed enterprise solution will also ensure economies of scale, a rationalisation of the service and necessary improvements in control of software and its development.

Charlotte Fysh, IT Project Manager, added:

“The T-Pro system will bring the Trust’s dictation and typing processes into the 21st century with its modern cloud and mobile architecture, which complements the Trust’s and ICS’s digital and agile strategies. The T-Pro system will also support our paper-lite agenda and assist with saving time, reducing costs and increasing efficiency. We are certain the system will also improve end-user and patient experience with timely delivery of clinical correspondence.”
