Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, the UK’s leading heart and lung hospital, has partnered with T-Pro to implement document workflow and speech recognition as part of its digital transformation programme, already delivering measurable impact within the first month of go-live. Clinicians across the Trust have completed more than 4,000 dictation tasks, demonstrating rapid adoption and immediate improvements in documentation efficiency, turnaround times, and workflow consistency.

Integrated with the Dedalus Lorenzo electronic patient record (EPR), T-Pro’s solution enables clinicians to capture and manage clinical documentation more efficiently within existing workflows, without adding complexity to their day. Early adoption has been particularly strong across key departments including Cardiology, Cambridge Centre of Lung Infection, Interstitial Lung Disease, Oncology, and the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Unit (PVDU). This has helped streamline clinical correspondence, improve the accuracy and consistency of records, and ensure documentation is no longer a bottleneck, but a responsive and integrated part of patient care delivery. In the first month alone, 4,957 tasks were generated, with 4,341 successfully completed.
