T-Pro acquires BigHand Healthcare

T-Pro now works with 120 NHS Trusts following its acquisition of BigHand Healthcare.

Dublin, Ireland, July 2026 – T-Pro, the leading AI-powered clinical documentation platform, built from the ground up for acute and large-scale health organisations, today announces it has acquired BigHand Healthcare, a leading provider of workflow orchestration and optimisation solutions for the health sector. 

The acquisition will combine the two companies’ complementary strengths. More health organisations are now set to benefit from T-Pro's end-to-end optimisation capability, combining unique T-Pro Ambient Voice Technology (AVT) with streamlined workflow optimisation that saves time for frontline clinicians and their teams, making them more productive.  

With a 15-year-heritage, BigHand Healthcare, a division of BigHand, has long-standing relationships with many NHS trusts, private hospitals and GP practices.  

The acquisition will see all BigHand Healthcare employees transition to T-Pro, strengthening an innovation-led team with close to 200 employees dedicated to transforming clinical documentation across the healthcare sector.  

All current BigHand Healthcare clients and staff will become part of the T-Pro group.
