T-Pro, a leading provider of Speech Technology in healthcare today announced the Acquisition of SyberScribe.  Melbourne headquartered SyberScribe specialises in providing Medical Transcription workflow technology and services to Australia’s largest acute hospitals, clinics as well as specialist consultants. The company’s large customer base will benefit from T-Pro’s state of the art AI-powered speech technology and will expand T-Pro’s existing footprint in the Asia-Pacific region.

Jonathan Larbey CEO of the T-Pro Group said:

“I am delighted to start the year by welcoming SyberScribe into the T-Pro group.  Reputation is always high on our strategic agenda when looking at potential acquisitions, and from day one it has been clear that SyberScribe has an outstanding reputation in the region.

By working alongside John and his existing management team, I am confident we can add real value to the APAC market.  Existing customers can rest assured that we will continue to uphold the high standards of service that they are used to while also providing access to the latest innovations in speech and language technology."

John Wollaston, Managing Director of SyberScribe commented:

“I have been involved in healthcare technology and medical transcription for many years and it is clear to me that T-Pro has a unique offering. There is no doubt that the technology they have developed is ahead of the game. But, also the flexibility and approach to delivery means that we will be able to offer that technology to clients in a very non-disruptive way.

Anyone who has worked in healthcare knows that things can be slow to change. With T-Pro, SyberScribe will be able to deliver impactful cost and efficiency improvements to our existing clients, with next to no change management. Whilst also offering a clear pathway towards digital transformation that doesn’t currently exist in the Asia-Pacific market."

The acquisition is the second in the last 6 months for T-Pro and will further expand the company’s global footprint, significantly expanding the existing customer base in Australia and New Zealand.
